Debby Christy In South Florida
|

Debby Christy grew up in South Florida. She is just another voice to be heard. She
loves songwriting and here is Debby's first effort in the business of songwriting. Now, I'm
here to tell you! If this is the beginning, I can't even imagine where Debby Christy is go in
the future. Debby writes straight from the heart and has a hard time candy coating
anything.
Mama's Roses is a very special song written for my Mother in honor of my sister
Lillian Marie. Baby Marie was lost as a toddler. To this day she is still missed by all of us.
My mother always shared the precious moments with me. It is my pleasure, that I can
share her with you as she herself is holding Mama's Roses.
Rock My Baby (My Baby Child) is a song written for all mothers whom have
ever lost a small baby. Grieving is a very difficult process. Some people never get over the
loss of such a small soul because they didn't have the chance to complete the transition
and bonding with this delicate being. I would love this song to be shared with those of us in
need of a chance to say goodbye.
Memories Of Love On The Water is a song written about Hurricane Andrew,
which devastated thousands of people in South Florida. Fishing is still my favorite past
time. All you have to do is take me out to the salty ocean with a good fishing pole and live
bait, and I'm happy!
In A Brown Paper Bag I wrote this song in honor of the inmates in the local jails.
When an inmate is taken into the system after committing a crime, all there personal
belongings are placed in a brown paper bag and placed on a shelf. I always thought the
bags looked very sad to me. It is unthinkable to the inmates that are there serving time, for
if there life somehow might end in that brown paper bag .
